Mission Statement: The Georgia Captive Association, Inc. (GCA), was established in 1998 as a non-profit corporation under Georgia law to represent the collective interest of captive insurance companies in Georgia. Goeriga first permitted the formation of captive insurance companies in 1989, and to date 17 Captives have been liscneced in Georgia. In addition to captive insurance company members, the GCA also welcomes non-captive associate members who wish to work to promote Georgia as a domicile for captive insurance companies.
